Brossard, Quebec, Canada, January 25, 2005- Distech Controls announced the appointment of two new sales managers to its expanding sales team and the promotion of Patrick Winkelman to Director of Sales, Americas and Erhard Dobler to Director of International Sales and Executive Accounts.

As a new member of Distech Controls, Rod Giltaca was hired as Regional Sales Manager, responsible for sales and business development in Western North America. He brings substantial industry experience to the team; having held positions in installations, project management, business development, sales and marketing for some of the largest controls contractors in British Columbia. After becoming familiar with Distech Controls' product line and company philosophy, Rod chose to become part of our team. Rod's focus with Distech Controls will be to develop and support the sales channel, providing sales assistance to existing and new clients as well as product application support.

Omar Tabba has been promoted to Regional Sales Manager, Eastern North America. Omar joined Distech Controls in 2003, serving in the technical and engineering services department. His talents in developing relationships with Distech Controls' customers along with his expertise in the EasyControls product line, have made him a natural choice for this new position. Omar counts considerable experience as a consulting engineer for Peter Kiewit and Sons, which he joined after obtaining his Civil Engineering degree from McGill University (Montreal, Quebec, Canada). Omar's focus as Regional Sales Manager will be to develop and support the sales channel with sales assistance, product application support and marketing guidance.

Patrick Winkelman joined Distech in 2002 and now serves as Director of Sales, Americas. He brings to Distech Controls over 18 years of industry experience including successful careers as a Sr. Account Executive at Honeywell and Johnson Controls along with valuable experience as a Regional Manager in pioneering the development of distribution channels for building automation products for the LONWORKS® and Niagara Framework™ technologies. Patrick's role as Director of Sales will be to work with the regional sales managers and Marketing department to develop and manage Distech Controls' rapidly growing sales channels.

As the new Director of International Sales and Executive Accounts, Erhard Dobler first joined the Distech Controls sales team in 2002. With over 20 years of experience in the areas of sales, operations and engineering, Erhard has held positions with Siemens, Pfister Automation and Integrated Systems Consultants. Erhard will be responsible for developing and managing Distech Controls' emerging international sales channel and OEM channels.
