Over the last 17 years, Martin has played an integral role within Distech Controls. Prior to joining the company, Martin served a Controls Project Manager within the building automation industry.
Seeing the evolution of Distech Controls from a small start-up to an internationally well positioned and respected building automation manufacturer is a thrill that cannot be described.
Dan brings over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, successfully leading go to market strategies for distribution, contractor, and agent channels in the HVAC, Security, and Fire Suppression industries. He has held positions with Johnson Controls and General Electric, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Troy, New York) in Computer Systems Engineering.
For more than 20 years, he has brought innovative concepts and energy management know-how to the industry, having held leadership roles in contracting, manufacturing and technical sales. Recognized as a building automation expert throughout North America and Europe, Trevor is instrumental in positioning Distech Controls as an industry leader in building automation technologies, while guiding the company’s strategic development, market expansion and product line diversification.

With 30 years of building automation systems and services experience, Jim French joined Distech Controls in 2011. Jim has acquired a versatile background in a variety of roles working for large, multi-national organizations, as well as smaller companies. Jim was previously a Partner and VP Operations for a small system integration business.
Coming from a tier 1 player in the controls industry, I am inspired to work for a quality minded, fast-acting, and customer focused organization with a proven track record for excellence. For more than 15 years, Steve has been involved in various facets of product design and process improvement in the industrial, telecommunications, and building automation industries.
It is incredibly inspiring that, even as we continue to grow, Distech Controls remains agile. This is due in large part to the quality of our team across all departments. I am also extremely inspired by the opportunity to work on the latest and greatest technology that will be used to save energy and, ultimately, the environment.
Charles Pelletier joined Distech Controls in 2002 as a Building Automation System Engineer. Charles later moved into the position of Product Manager, where he was responsible for the introduction of several key Distech Controls products before being appointed Director of the department.

Mathieu Houle has over 17 years of experience in the building automation industry. He worked as a system integrator for 10 years and then held the roles of Project Manager, Product Manager and Team Leader Quality and HVAC applications for Distech Controls Inc before joining the Distech Controls SAS team in 2012.
What inspires me is being part of Distech Controls’ continued growth while simultaneously having the opportunity to personally evolve within the company.
Ryan Sen joined Distech Controls in 2006 as the Quality Assurance Team Leader, gaining the necessary skills and experience to lead the customer facing departments. Ryan has estimating and design knowledge, as well as technical deployment experience of the EC-NetAX Building Management Solution, LONWORKS, BACnet, and Modbus protocols for building automation and control.
The success of our customers as they leverage our technology offering and supporting infrastructure is what motivates me. Essentially, I am inspired by the ability to empower end users with innovative solutions.
With more than 15 years of experience in the support and training industry, Sam is NiagaraAX and Niagara Security certified, offering training for both of these platforms. He also implemented and continues to maintain the first knowledge base for Distech Controls, providing our clients with streamlined technical information.
The combination of the Distech Controls' innovation, drive, talent, openness, and the desire for change is what inspires me.
Over the last 6 years, Elisabeth has played an integral role within Distech Controls. Having initially started as an independent consultant in 2008, Elisabeth joined the company as Quality Manager the following year. Since then, Elisabeth has increasingly taken on Information Systems and IT responsibilities and was subsequently appointed Director of Quality and Information Technology in 2014.
Distech Controls’ mission and long term objectives are clearly communicated to employees on an ongoing basis. This creates a very challenging and stimulating work environment where we come together as a team to achieve these common goals.
What inspires me about Distech Control is the company’s dynamic nature, the way in which the entire team is always up for a challenge, and the environmental values that we stand for.
