Network and Interface

The EC-Net building management system (BMS) is a comprehensive Web-based platform powered by the Niagara Framework®.

The open structure of EC-Net building management system (BMS) creates a common development and management environment for the integration of BACnet®, LONWORKS®, Modbus™, and other standards.

More than a building management system, EC-Net system provides all the tools you need to gain intelligence into your buildings’ performance and arm you with the ability to rapidly react to any situation that may adversely affect energy costs, business performance, and ultimately, your bottom line.

  • EC-Net 4 Supervisor
    The EC-Net 4 Supervisor is a software platform used in server-class applications. It makes managing all buildings at an enterprise level possible, giving facilities managers the ability to quickly respond to problems and insights to optimize their system.
  • EC-NetAX Supervisor
    EC-NetAX Supervisor flexible graphical user interface provides traditional building management functions such as scheduling, trending, alarming, historical data collection and advanced energy management applications.
  • EC-Net 4 Alarm Console
    The EC-Net 4 Alarm Console is a flexible client application for monitoring alarms from EC-BOS or Supervisor nodes and provides an alternative way for users that do not require the full EC-Net 4 Pro to monitor, acknowledge and review current alarms within a building or campus.

EC-BOS: Multi-protocol Web Building Controllers

The EC-BOS real-time control devices support a wide range of protocols including LONWORKS®, BACnet®, Modbus® and Internet standards. The EC-BOS devices connect to system field devices, such as LONWORKS or BACnet controllers, and provide real-time control functions. It combines integrated control, supervision, data logging, alarming, scheduling and network management functions with Internet connectivity and web serving capabilities in a small, compact platform.



Using the EC-Net platform, the EC-BOS controllers provide a fully distributed system when multiple units are networked together, are ideal for smaller facilities, remote sites, and for distributing control and monitoring throughout large facilities.
The EC-BOS control devices are part of the EC-Net web-based multi-protocol solution, designed to integrate a variety of devices and protocols into unified, distributed systems. EC-Net system supports a wide range of protocols including LONWORKS®, BACnet®, Modbus® and Internet standards.

    With Internet connectivity and Web serving capability, the EC-BOS-8 controller provides integrated control, supervision, data logging, alarming, scheduling, and network management.
    Also, it allows integration of various field buses and communication protocols. The EC-BOS-8 controller operates with EC-Net 4 web-based building management platform.
