AC – Access Control

Readers and credentials provide the necessary inputs for identifying occupants in an access control system.   • Reader with Keypad and Fingerprint Scanner
    The bioCLASS RKLB57 reader provides users with new options for supporting multi-authentication of identity. Combining contactless card presentation with a fingerprint biometric, the bioCLASS can also be used with personal identification numbers (PIN).
  • Credentials
    iCLASS SE Contactless cards, keys, tags and clamshell cards offer a secure, standards-based, technology-indepen¬dent and flexible identity data structure based on Secure Identity Object (SIO), a new portable credential methodol¬ogy. These credentials are also enabled with Trusted Identitiy Platform (TIPTM) which provides trusted identity within a secure ecosystem of interoperable products.

AV – Air Velocity

Air velocity sensors output the actual speed of airflow to the building automation system. This allows the BAS to monitor and control the amount of air flowing through the ventilation system.

  • Thermal Dispersion Probe Airflow Measuring System
    The AV-ASTNN Thermal Dispersion Probe Airflow Measuring System Series averages velocity and temperature from up to four probes and sixteen sensing points in a duct or plenum, providing accurate, dependable airflow measure¬ment from 40 to 4,000 Feet Per Minute (FPM) (12 to 1,219 Meters Per Minute [MPM]) within ±2% accuracy. At each sensing point, a microprocessor calculates flow and temperature, sending this information to an Integral Multiplex¬ing Unit (IMU). The IMU collects data from each sensor circuit and sends a digital output to the control transmitter. The control transmitter provides air temperature and velocity information on an LCD screen and to a Building Automation System (BAS) through analog outputs (2 to 10 VDC or 4 to 20 mA).
  • Thermal Dispersion Fan Inlet Sensor Airflow Measuring System
    The AV-RA Series averages velocity and temperature from fan inlet sensors in a duct or plenum, providing accurate, dependable airflow measurement from 0 to 10,000 fpm (0 to 50.8 mps) within ±2% accuracy. Each sensor circuit is connected to a router that stores the calibration data. The router’s microprocessor calculates flow and temperature and sends this information digitally to the Electronic Controller, which provides air velocity and temperature informa¬tion on an LCD screen. The transmitter sends the output to a Building Automation System (BAS) through 4 to 20 mA or 2 to 10 VDC analog outputs (using a 500 ohm resistor) or a 1 to 5 VDC analog output (using a 250 ohm resistor).
  • Airflow Transducer
    The AV-SP3150MCS008 is an airflow transducer. These devices are used to measure the airflow speed in ducts. The AV-SP3150MCS008 transducer registers the airflow speed according to a thermal principle based on the fact that the cooling action of air increases with airspeed. The action is measured and converted to a 4-20 mA or 0-10 V signal corresponding to airflow speeds from 0-8 m/s (0–1575 ft/min) or 0-16 m/s (0-3150 ft/min).

CB – Wire & Cable

Low-voltage wire and cable is the nervous system of the building controls network. Communication cable connects together BACnet MS/TP, BACnet/IP and LonWorks control networks. Cat 5e patch cords quickly snap Allure sensor and Smart Room Control products to controllers without the need of any tools. Our large variety of FT-4 and FT-6 multi-conductor cable is suitable for all sensor, actuator and controller connections.

CS – Current Sensing

Current sensors are essential components of all building and energy management systems. Our family of solid and split-core current sensors offer all the features needed for any application including current or voltage outputs, fixed or adjustable trip points, built-in relay, LED indicator and override switch.

  • Current Sensors & Switches
    Enclosed, self-powered, solid and split core current sensors (voltage and current output) and switches (fixed and adjustable trip points). All Solid-State Switch (SPST) sensor output models below (excluding CS-RIBXG21 Series) can be mounted directly on RE-RIBAN12C and RE-RIBAN24C track mount relays.

DA - Dampers & Actuators

Dampers are the control points for regulating the flow of air in a ventilation system. Our line of volume control dampers cover all leakage and sizing requirements and are suitable for all climates and air control applications. Our spring and non-spring return series of actuators can control small terminal unit dampers up to large intake air dampers. Options are available for input voltage, control signal output, as well as auxiliary end switches and adjustable span and offset.

    The DA-020S Series of direct-coupled, spring return electronic damper actuators are 24 Vac/dc and 120 Vac rated and available in 2-position, floating and 2 to 10 Vdc control.

The DA-VxASN Series dampers are tested at an Air Movement Control Association (AMCA) Certified Laboratory using instrumentation and procedures in accordance with AMCA Standard No. 500, Test Methods for Louvers, Dampers, and Shutters. DA-VxASN Series Dampers with seals rated for Class IA leakage resistance are suitable for applications requiring very tight closure and high velocities.

    The DA-VxGSN Series is a low leak, galvanized steel damper designed with airfoil blades for higher velocity and pressure HVAC systems. It meets the leakage requirements of the International Energy Conservation Code by leaking less than 3 cfm/sq. ft. at 1 inch of static pressure and is AMCA licensed as a Class 1A damper.

The DA-VxVSN Series dampers are tested at an Air Movement Control Association (AMCA) Certified Laboratory using instrumentation and procedures in accordance with AMCA Standard No. 500, Test Methods for Louvers, Dampers, and Shutters. DA-VxVSN Series Dampers with seals rated for Class III leakage resistance are suitable for applications where tight closure is not required, such as return air applications. Do not use DA-VxVSN Series Dampers for outdoor air applications.

FS – Fluid Sensing

Fluid sensing devices are used to ensure proper flow in piping systems, monitor liquid levels and warn the system of leaks, amongst other functions. Our collection of liquid flow switches, level switches and leak detectors can be installed on new and retrofit projects alike.

  • Vane Flow Switches
    The FS-2 Series of Vane Flow Switches offer an economical flow proving solution. Custom set points tailored for the application are enabled by field adjustable vane layers and a setpoint adjustment screw. These switches are ideal for use in “flow or no flow” applications in cold and hot water systems.
  • Thermal Dispersion Flow Switch
    Thermal Dispersion Flow Switch, 316SS and polysulfone, 1/2" NPT process connection, 6' of cable with cable gland.
  • Cable Float Switches
    The FS-CFS2 series of Cable Float Switches are a mechanically-actuated floating switch intended to activate electrical components, usually pumps, to start and stop automatically. The FS-CFS2 is perfect for simple level control of liquids for filling or draining reservoirs and tanks.
  • Submersible Level Transmitters
    The FS-SBLT2 Submersible Level Transmitters are manufactured for years of trouble free service in the harshest applications. They measure the height of liquid above the position in the tank referenced to atmospheric pressure. The transmitters consist of a piezoresistive sensing element, encased in a 316 SS housing. The PVS bullet nose design protects the diaphragm from damage.
  • Water Detectors
    The FS-WD Series of fluid sensors are microchip-based devices that use gold-plated sensing probes to detect the presence of water or other conductive liquids. It is designed to signal an alarm if one or more of three conditions are met: water is detected, power is lost to the unit, or if there is an internal failure providing the highest level of water detection confidence.

GS – Gas Sensing

Gas sensing devices are vital to the wellbeing of building occupants. Our portfolio of gas sensors can detect carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), smoke, volatile organic compounds (VOC) and a number of other gases and compounds that can pose a threat to health and safety. Available devices can transmit gas levels back to the BAS and can also directly control exhaust systems to remove harmful toxins and bring in fresh air.

  • Room CO2 Sensors
    The GS-CDR Series are room carbon dioxide gas detectors. These devices provide precision measurement of CO2 gas. The GS-CDR series uses a highly accurate and reliable Nondispersive Infrared (NDIR) sensor combined with state-of-theart digital linearization and temperature compensated circuitry in an attractive, low profile enclosure for room applications to monitor room CO2 levels. A linear analog signal output of 4-20 mA, 0-5 or 0-10 Vdc is provided for connection to a building automation system. Optional features such as temperature sensor, setpoint adjustment, manual override and adjustable relay output are available.
  • Duct CO2 Sensors
    The GS-CDD Series are duct carbon dioxide gas detectors. These devices provide precision measurement of CO2 gas. These sensors use a highly accurate and reliable Non-dispersive Infrared (NDIR) sensor combined with state-of-the-art digital linearization and temperature compensated circuitry to monitor duct CO2, levels. The duct CO2 transmitter principal of operation is based on the Venturi effect of the probe that extends into the HVAC duct. Air flowing through the duct is forced into the vent holes on one side of the probe, into the enclosure, over the CO2 sen¬sor and then the air is drawn back out of the enclosure via the vent holes on the opposite side of the probe. Optional temperature sensor and adjustable relay output is also available.
  • In-Duct CO2 Sensors
    The GS-TR9291 sensors are quality-engineered CO2 transmitter targeted at applications where a dependable CO2 sensor is required that never needs calibration.
  • Outdoor CO2 Sensors
    The GS-CDO Series are outdoor carbon dioxide gas detectors. These devices provide precision measurement of CO2 gas. The CO2 transmitter uses Non-dispersive infrared Technology (NDIR) to monitor CO2 levels and outputs a linear 4-20mA, 0-5Vdc or 0-10Vdc signal. Options include a control relay and a temperature sensor.
  • Duct Temperature, Relative Humidity & CO2 Sensors
    The GS-CDHTD Series are duct temperature and relative humidity CO2 detectors. They use a highly accurate and reliable non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor to monitor CO2, a precision thermistor to monitor temperature and a thermoset polymer based capacitance sensor to measure humidity level. This is combined with state-of-the-art digital linearization and temperature compensated circuitry and provides 3 analog outputs.
  • Basic CO Sensors
    The GS-CMB Series are carbon monoxide gas detectors. They use an electrochemical sensor for reliability and accu¬racy in even the most critical applications. The standard product features a 2-wire loop-powered output. Optionally, the device may be configured with an alarm relay which operates in 3-wire sourcing mode and/or with Modbus communications.
  • Advanced CO Sensors
    The GS-CMA Series are carbon monoxide gas detectors. They use an electrochemical sensor to monitor the carbon monoxide level and output a field-selectable 4-20 mA, 0-5 or 0-10 Vdc. The sensing range and output may be scaled to either 100, 150, 300, 400 or 500 ppm via the on-board menu.
  • Electrochemical Gas Transmitters
    The GS-TR3210 Series are high accuracy, electrochemical gas transmitters that can be factory configured to mea¬sure chlorine, oxygen, or nitrogen dioxide. This loop-powered sensor delivers a linear 4-20 ma output that is easily integrated into any building control, ventilation or alarm application. The low profile design can be attached to any single gang electrical box and features an economical and easily replaceable sensor element.
  • Catalytic Bead Combustible Gas Detectors
    The GS-TR5200 is a high-accuracy catalytic bead gas sensor/transmitter that can be used to detect LEL (Lower Explosive Limit) concentrations of a wide range of combustible gases. Transmitters can be factory-calibrated to the specific combustible gas of interest.
  • Duct Smoke Detectors
    The GS-SDD Series Smoke Detector are the latest innovation for early detection of smoke and products of combustion present in air moving through HVAC ducts in commercial, industrial and residential application. The GS-SDD Series, 4-wire duct housing will accommodate either the ionization sensor or the photoelectronic sensor.
  • Room Air Quality Sensors
    The GS-AQR, Indoor Air Quality Sensor Series uses an advanced MEMS metal oxide semiconductor sensor to detect poor air quality. The sensor reacts quickly to detect a broad range of VOCs such as smoke, cooking odors, bio-effluence, outdoor pollutants and from human activities. The sensor captures all VOC emissions that are completely invisible to CO2 sensors. The GS-AQR Series provides a linear analog signal output of 0-5 or 0-10 Vdc for connection to a building automation system as well as an analog stepped output of 0-10Vdc. Optional features such as a temperature sensor, manual override and adjustable relay output are available.

HS – Humidity Sensing

Humidity sensing devices help maintain a comfortable environment for building occupants and safe conditions for equipment where moisture can cause damage. A variety of humidity and combination humidity and temperature sensors are available in different types of enclosures for installation in rooms, ducts and outdoors. Humidity sensing accuracy can be chosen based on the needs of the application. Sensors for monitoring and detecting condensation are also available.

  • Room Humidity Sensors
    The HS-R Series are room humidity transmitters that use a highly accurate and field-proven RH sensor in a sleek, elegant, and low profile enclosure to monitor room relative humidity levels. Additional options include an LCD display. The RH output can be field selected as a linear 4-20 mA, 0-5 or 0-10 Vdc signal. This product offers a cost effective solution for customers who wish to have ease of installation to their Building Automation System.
  • Wall Plate Humidity Sensors
    The HS-RXXXMP Series are stainless steel wall plate relative humidity transmitters. They use a field-proven ca¬pacitive type humidity sensor and microprocessor temperature compensation for reliable, accurate measurement of indoor humidity. The wall plate sensor is perfect for locations requiring periodic wipe down as it features a 304 stainless steel plate with a neoprene gasket. The sensor is protected by a 100 micron sintered stainless steel filter. The plate sensor is available with either 4-20 mA or 0-5 Vdc or 0-10 Vdc output signal types and the transmitter is located on the back of the plate for ease of installation.
  • Duct Humidity Transmitters
    The HS-D Series are duct humidity transmitters. They use a highly accurate and reliable Thermoset Polymer based capacitance humidity sensor and state-of-the-art digital linearization and temperature compensated circuitry to monitor humidity levels. The sensor is encapsulated in a 228.60 mm (9”) long by 12.7 mm (0.5”) diameter 304 S/S probe. A 60 micron HDPE filter protects the sensor from contaminants. A variety of enclosures are available. Excel¬lent long term stability and quick response time combined with temperature compensation make the HS-D Series the ideal choice for the HVAC market. All models are available with accuracies of 2%, 3% or 5%.
  • Outside Air Humidity Transmitters
    The HS-O Series are relative humidity transmitters for outside air. They use a highly accurate and reliable Thermoset Polymer based capacitance humidity sensor and state-of-theart digital linearization and temperature compensated circuitry to monitor humidity levels. A 60 micron HDPE filter protects the sensor from contaminants. Excellent long term stability and quick response time combined with temperature compensation make the HS-O Series the ideal choice for the HVAC market. All models are available with RH accuracies of 2%, 3% or 5%.

    The HS-R Series temperature transmitter incorporates two sensors in one attractive wall mount enclosure for the most ecient environmental monitoring and control system. It uses a eld-proven RH sensor to monitor relative humidity and a curve-matched thermistor to measure temperature and provides two analog outputs of either 4-20 mA, 0-5Vdc or 0-10 Vdc.

  • Condensation Prevention Detectors
    The HS-WD-CPS condensation prevention sensor is designed to meet the requirements for a low cost device to provide early warning of condensing conditions. The sensor provides either a volt-free contact or current output and is housed in a small enclosure which can be strapped to the surface that requires monitoring.

ID – Inverter (Variable Frequency) Drives

Inverter (Variable Frequency) drives are important to any building energy saving initiative. Our line of drives is specifically designed for all HVAC applications and connect seamlessly to the BAS through standard protocols. They can be installed anywhere, no matter the motor size, voltage or enclosure requirements and can be packaged with disconnects, fuses and bypasses.

  • HVAC Drives
    The ID-P Series are full-featured, HVAC-dedicated drives with built-in intelligence and a vast number of functions developed to meet the diverse needs of the HVAC business. It is the perfect match for pumps, fans and compressors in modern buildings that are fitted with increasingly sophisticated solutions. Drives are available standalone, as well as packaged solutions in side-by-side or vertical panels.
  • Micro Drives
    Micro drives are frequency converters with unsurpassed reliability, user-friendliness, condensed functionality, and are extremely easy to commission. Despite the compact size and the easy commissioning, Micro Drives can be set up to perform perfectly even in complex application setups. Approximately 100 parameters can be set to optimize energy efficiency and operation.

LS – Light Sensing

Switches, motion sensors and light level sensors are the key components of any lighting control system. Our lighting control devices leverage the latest technologies to help build an advanced lighting and daylighting control system while satisfying the aesthetic needs of the visible space.

  • Low-Voltage Momentary Contact AC/DC Switches
    Low-voltage momentary contact switches provide local control of relay switching in low-voltage lighting control systems. The industrial grade LS-1081-W has a standard toggle, while the commercial grade LS-56081-2W features a Decora Plus™ rocker.
  • PIR Ceiling Occupancy Sensors

ME – Meters

Meters are crucial to any energy management system. Power, water and gas meters feed energy data to the EMS that can then be used as part of a number of initiatives including sub-metering, tenant billing, and demand response. Our meters are suitable for all installations whether new or retrofit.

NC – Network Connectivity

  • Mounting Track
    Mounting options include plastic track for snap-mounting circuit boards. One style of track can be mounted to the back surface of any cabinet and is available in 102mm or 69 mm (4.00” or 2.75” widths). Another style of track, AdapTrack®, snap onto any of the three most popular DIN rails. In turn, it can accommodate a 102mm (4.00”0 wide circuit board.

PS – Pressure Sensing

Maintaining correct pressure in a control system is extremely important for proper system function, equipment protection and can be critical in clean room applications. Our family of pressure sensors can measure air and liquid, static and differential pressures within all common ranges and units.

  • Room Pressure Monitor
    The Room Pressure and Condition Monitor utilizes highly accurate capacitance sensing technology to measure and display true low pressure differential. A room pressure monitor is employed to measure and alert the indi¬vidual of any change in pressure - no matter how small.
  • Multi-Room Monitoring Station (MRMS)
    The Multi-Room Monitoring Station (MRMS) is designed for installation in a central location, such as nurses station or main control room. It is designed to be flush mounted to provide remote viewing and alarm monitoring for up to 8 rooms or critical spaces equipped with Pressure and Room Condition Monitors.
  • Ultra Low Air Differential Pressure Transmitters
    The PS-AULDP Series are ultra-low-pressure transmitters. These devices can be used to measure differential pres¬sure between an area and a reference space. It combines precision high sensitivity silicon sensing capabilities and the latest in ASIC technology with Dynamic Self Compensation. Standard features include: Bi-directional pressure ranges, selectable output, and on-board auto-zeroing. A built-in alarm relay output and LCD are optional. Several accessories are available. The unit may be mounted in any position but typically is installed on a vertical surface with the pressure ports on the right and the cable entrance on the left. The enclosure has a standard opening for a ½” conduit and may be installed with either conduit and a conduit coupler or a cable gland type fitting.
  • Low Air Differential Pressure Transmitters
    This series of low-pressure transmitters can be used to measure positive, negative or differential pressure in ranges from 1”W.C. to 20”W.C. (250 to 2000Pa). The piezoresistive sensor is ideal for monitoring the pressure of air or other clean inert gases and is limited only to those media which will not attack polyetherimide, silicon, fluorosilicone, silicone, EPDM, and neoprene seals.
  • Differential Pressure Air Flow Sensor Probes
    The PS-PAFS Differential Pressure Air Flow Sensor Probes are ideal for sensing differential pressure in the inlet section of variable air volume terminal units and fan terminal units. Units can also be used to sense differential pressure at other locations in the main or branch duct systems. The “H” port senses total pressure and the “L” port senses static pressure. The difference between these signals is the differential, or velocity pressure. Models offer up to ten sensing points and lengths of 3-5/32˝ to 23-29/32˝ (8.02 to 60.72 cm) to accommodate box sizes of 4˝ to 30˝ (10.16 to 76.20 cm).

    The PS-LDP Series differential pressure transmitter is designed with dual sensors that enables it to accept high pressure ranges (5 Psi to 500 Psi). All models can handle overload pressure two times (2x) and burst pressure five times (5x) the maximum full scale range.
  • Liquid Differential Pressure Transmitter with Remote Sensors
    The PS-231G-RS Series with remote sensors reduces labor, materials, and time. The sensors are installed directly into the pipe and electrical connection is made between the remote sensors and the PS-231G-RS via cables or conduit, reducing labor cost by one-third and the cost of copper to connect the pressure transducer to the pipe. Startup time is reduced since purging air out of the lines is not necessary.

It offers multi-range capability with 6 field selectable ranges and 2 field selectable outputs that are easily configured by flipping a Dip Switch. The PS-2671 Series is housed in a NEMA 4 rated enclosure with an optional static pressure probe reducing installation and material costs. It delivers ±0.25%, ±0.4% and ±1% FS accuracy options with pressure ranges from 0.1” W.C. up to 100” W.C.

Available in four or eight stage models, the RE-R851V can also be used in conjunction with the RE-R810 power switch or RE-R820 SCR power controller, which will result in a fully proportional control of the load. The RE-R851B is specifically designed for electric boiler sequencing.

SC – Signal Converters

Signal converters help to connect various kinds of equipment to a control system. Many simple devices serve to alter analog, floating, resistance, pulse, pneumatic and other control signals in a variety of ways.
  • Floating Point to Analog Output
    The SC-AUD converts a floating point signal into a linear analog output. There are two inputs on the SC-AUD, one to increase the analog output and one to decrease the analog output. The output of the SC-AUD is stable when the inputs are both off.
  • Analog, Pulse, or Floating Point to Resistive Output
    The SC-DRN3.1 is an interface that allows microprocessor control of a variable resistance. The SC-DRN3.1’s isolated resistor network can be controlled by several different DDC signal types. It directly replaces a variable resistance controller and simulates the action of a slide wire or rotary potentiometer. All connections of the simu¬lated potentiometer, the wiper and both ends of the resistance range, are available on the SC-DRN3.1 terminal strip. The SC-DRN3.1 accepts an analog, pulse of floating point input signal (including TRIAC) and converts it into a proportional resistive output.
  • Analog, Pulse, or Floating Point Resistive Output (135 Ω)
    The SC-DRN4 is a resistive output motor actuator interface that accepts several types of DDC system signals. The SC-DRN4 output is 0 to 135 Ω. The input signal types are field selectable by an 8-position DIP switch. Signal input selections include voltage, current, pulse and floating point.
  • Floating Point to Pneumatic
    The SC-PTS4.1 converts two digital (increase/decrease)signals (relay contact closure, transistor or TRIAC) into a proportional pneumatic signal. The SC-PTS4.1’s closed loop electronic design will maintain the last commanded pneumatic pressure. An on-board microprocessor measures the signal input, and a solid-state pressure transducer measures branch line pressure. The SC-PTS4.1 uses these two values to automatically increase or decrease branch line air pressure.
  • Floating Point to Pneumatic with Feedback
    Proportional pneumatic signal ranging from 0-20 psig. The pneumatic output is proportional to the signal input.
  • Dual TRIAC Output Booster
    The SC-TOB will accept up to two separate signals from up to two AC TRIAC outputs, or DC sources, and provide up to two TRIAC outputs each capable of driving a 2.5A load. Each output TRIAC is activated for the time that the signal is applied to the input. The SC-TOB provides isolation between the input and output circuits as well as the two identical circuits
  • Six Analog Average, HI/LO, Difference and Binary conversion
    The SC-6N1-ISO is a microprocessor controlled interface designed to provide maximum flexibility with a minimum of cost. With a variety of standard inputs the SC-6N1-ISO provides the user with the ability to interface several devices to the analog output.
  • Analog Isolation Modules
    Both the SC-AIM1 and the SC-AIM3 optically isolate an analog voltage or current input signal from its corresponding output signal. The SC-AIM3 was specifically developed to accept a feedback signal from a variable speed drive and direct it back to the controller (BAS) for monitoring motor speed.
  • Re-Scaleable Isolation Module
    The SC-AIM2 optically isolates the analog (voltage or current) signal to the device being controlled. The SC-AIM2 will accept any input signals between 0 and 20 volts, or 0 and 20 mA, and output any signal within those ranges.
  • Analog Re-Scaling Module
    The ARM is an analog re-scaling module which accepts an analog voltage or current signal and re-scales it to another voltage or current range. Several preset ranges are jumper selectable.
  • Analog Signal Amplifier
    The SC-ASA is an analog signal amplifier which accepts an analog voltage or current signal and outputs a voltage signal. Several preset input ranges are jumper selectable.
  • Dual Output Analog Re-Scaling Module
    The SC-ARM2 will accept a single analog voltage or current signal and split that signal into two DC non-isolated current sourcing outputs that can be re-scaled. Its primary application is as a signal splitter. The outputs are always scaled identically and will always track each other.
  • Analog Input to (4) Adjustable Relay Outputs
    The SC-ATL accepts an analog voltage or current input signal and controls four relays. Each relay has an adjustable trip point which is set by a multi-turn trimmer potentiometer. Each relay is activated when the input signal is equal to or greater than the trip point setting.
  • Analog Input to (2) Adjustable Relay Outputs
    The SC-AAR is controlled by a single analog input signal with two potentiometers controlling each output relay. The two 10 amp output relays can be independently set to fixed or adjustable deadband. An onboard deadband selector can be set to Fixed or Adjustable.
  • Analog to PWM Output
    The SC-ATP converts an analog signal into a digital pulse output signal. The user can select eight standard analog input ranges to the SC-ATP by changing jumper shunt positions. To select the output pulse range, the SC-ATP has an eight position DIP switch. The output pulse is continuous with a one second off between pulses.
  • Analog Input to Pneumatic Output
    The SC-PXP is an electric to pneumatic transducer which converts an analog electrical input signal to a proportional pneumatic output. The SC-PXP Series will automatically modulate its control valve(s) to regulate the branch line pressure to the selected set point as determined by the input signal.
  • Field Adjustable Single Valve Control
    The SC-EPC is an electric to pneumatic transducer which converts an analog input signal to a proportional pneu¬matic output, modulating its control valve(s) to regulate the branch line pressure to the set point determined by the input signal.
  • Analog to Floating Point
    The SC-AFP allows an analog signal to control a floating point actuator. The SC-AFP converts an analog signal into two relay contact outputs (one increase/one decrease). The SC-AFP’s isolated floating point output can be controlled by any one of eight analog input signal ranges (using offset jumper).
  • Manual Analog Override (2-I/O)
    The SC-MAO installs between a controller and an actuator to provide adjustable analog manual override when needed. In normal operation two (2) analog signals route from the controller through the SC-MAO to each actuator.
  • PWM to 4 or 8 Relay Multiplexer (Jumpers)
    The SC-DMUX is a selectable output controller designed to expand the output capacity of an energy management or process controller. The SC-DMUX has up to eight output relays which can be individually addressed by a single pulse width modulated input signal. Common (C), Normally Open (NO), and Normally Closed (NC) connections are available for each output.
  • Digital Pulse Input to 0-10VDC Output Only
    The PTA converts a single pulse-width modulated input to an analog current or voltage output. The input signal is optically isolated and can accept either positive or negative polarity.
  • Pulse Width to Pneumatic, Single Valve Control
    The SC-EPW converts a pulse, phase cut, or digital PWM signal into a proportional pneumatic signal ranging from 0 to 20 psig. The pneumatic output is proportional to the signal input, either direct or reverse acting.
  • Resistance Input to Current Output
    The SC-RTI converts a 3-wire resistance signal to an analog output, using current loop power (two wire). The SC-RTI is reverse-polarity-protected and offers linear tracking of a 3-wire resistance input against the standard output signal of a 4 to 20 milliamp (current source). Its small size and selfpowered feature lends its use to remote mounting for feedback signals from a valve or damper motor indicating its position.
  • Pneumatic to Analog (100 PSI)
    The SC-PTP100 accepts a 0 to 100 psig pneumatic pressure input and converts it to one of four proportional analog output ranges. It is a positive current output device that is fully temperature compensated.
  • Pneumatic to Analog (3 to 15 PSI or 3 to 30 PSI)
    The SC-PTP accepts either a 3 to 15 or a 3 to 30 psig pneumatic pressure input and converts it to one of four propor¬tional analog output ranges. It is a positive current output device that is fully temperature compensated.
  • Manual Pneumatic Override
    The MPOE is a switch selectable electrically operated manual override. It is designed to be installed between a pneumatic signal transducer and the actuator. It can be used with any HVAC Control System or Building Automation Control System.
  • Local Power Regulator (5-24 VDC Output)
    The LPR is an adjustable regulated power supply with a maximum output current of 1 amp. It accepts up to 28 VAC or 40 VDC input voltage and outputs 2 to 25 VDC by adjusting a multi-turn potentiometer. Its compact size allows it to be installed in either 2.25" or 3.25" snap track. Half wave rectification makes it possible to power the LPR from either AC or DC sources. These sources can be either grounded or floating without damage to the LPR.
  • Two SPDT Relay Interface Module
    The RIM2 accepts 24VAC or 24VDC, 115 VAC, or 230VAC and energizes two 115VAC, 10 amp relays. When the input voltage is applied, each relay is activated to turn on or off any loads connected.
  • Programmable Signal Generator (Hand Held)
    The PSG is a hand held programmable signal generator designed to simulate analog or pulse signals from controllers, sensors, and other building automation system components. It is designed as an aid to speed up the process of system setup and calibration.
  • Manual Digital Override
    The MDO2FS is installed between a controller and an actuator to provide manual override when needed.
  • RS485 Lighting Contactor Interface
    The PHOTON4.1 interface has 4 outputs capable of controlling G.E. RR7 or RR9 relay types (up to 10 per output) or Schlage Electronics or TOUCH-PLATETM 3000-PL relay type lighting contactors. It provides the necessary latch and unlatch pulses required by these contactors.
  • Electric to Pneumatic Switch
    The SW1 is a 3-way pneumatic solenoid valve activated by a 24 VDC or VAC electric signal. The miniature valve is light weight, energy efficient and capable of continuous duty.

TS – Temperature Sensing

Temperature sensors are fundamental to any BAS where occupant comfort is paramount. Our full line of temperature sensors and transmitters are used for air, liquid and solid surfaces and are available with a variety of temperature sensor types, enclosures and form factors.

  • Stainless Steel Plate Temperature Sensors
    The TS-RMP series is a single gang, blank stainless steel wall plate that incorporates a precision temperature sensor used to monitor room temperatures where additional security is required. These sensors can be flush mounted directly to a single gang electrical box or directly to a wall. Insulating foam is adhered to the back of the wall plate to provide a thermal barrier from internal wall temperatures.
  • Duct Temperature Sensors
    The TS-D Sensor Series are duct bracket-mount temperature sensors. These devices provide precision temperature sensing of ducts. The TS-D single point duct temperature sensor utilizes a precision sensor encapsulated in a 6.35 mm (0.25”) OD, 304 series stainless steel probe and is available in various lengths. All probes provide excellent heat transfer, fast response and resistance to moisture penetration.
  • Flexible Duct Averaging Temperature Sensors
    This series of copper duct averaging temperature sensors provide precision temperature sensing of mixed air ducts. It incorporates numerous sensors on an FT4 plenum rated wiring cable. It acts as a single sensor, averaging any temperature change across the sensors.
  • Rigid Duct Averaging Temperature Sensors
    The PDIGR-TE200DR Series are rigid duct averaging temperature sensors. They are encapsulated in a 6.35 mm (0.25") OD, 304 stainless steel probe. All probes provide excellent heat transfer, fast response and resist moisture penetration. This temperature sensor is available with various probe lengths and various enclosures to fit any application. It can accommodate a wide variety of sensing elements such as NTC thermistors, RTD elements, Nickel RTD elements and IC sensors.
  • Immersion Temperature Sensors
    This series of single point temperature sensor utilizes a precision sensor encapsulated in a 6.35 mm (0.25” OD, 304 series stainless steel probe and is available in various lengths. All probes provide excellent heat transfer, fast response and resistance to moisture penetration.
  • Strap-On Temperature Sensors (Probe)
    The TS-SPP Sensor Series are strap-on temperature sensors. These devices provide precision temperature sensing of pipes and tanks. The single point strap-on temperature sensor utilizes a precision sensor encapsulated in a 6.35 mm (0.25”) OD, 304 stainless steel probe and is available in various lengths. All probes are constructed to provide excellent heat transfer, fast response and are potted to resist moisture penetration. It is available with a variety of enclosures which contain pre-formed ½” knockouts for conduit connections.
  • Strap-On Temperature Sensors (Clamp)
    This series of single point strap-on temperature sensors incorporate a precision sensor bonded to a 38 mm x 38 mm (1.5”x 1.5”) aluminum plate and adhered to a 38 mm x 25.4 mm (1.5 x 1“) compressible foam. A 254 mm (10”) pipe clamp is provided to secure the assembly to various sizes of pipe. All probes are constructed to provide excellent heat transfer, fast response and are potted to resist moisture penetration. It is available with a variety of enclosures.
  • Outdoor Temperature Sensors
    This series of sensors are single point outside air temperature sensor that utilizes a precision sensor. The sensing element is constructed to provide excellent heat transfer, fast response and are potted to resist moisture penetration. A sun and wind shield is integrated into the enclosure. This sensor should be mounted on an outside north facing wall using the provided mounting holes, under the eaves which will provide protection from direct sunlight.
  • Glass Temperature Sensor
    The TS-G sensor is single point glass temperature sensors that utilize a precision sensor encapsulated in an Aluminum probe (31.75 mm L x 9.525 mm W x 9.525 mm H (1.25” x .375” x .375”)). The standard wire length is 600 mm (24”). All probes are constructed to provide excellent heat transfer, fast response and are potted to resist moisture penetration The TS-G can accommodate a wide variety of sensing elements such as NTC thermistors, RTD elements, Nickel RTD elements and IC sensors.

  • Low Limit Freeze Protection Switches
    The TS-DFS Low Limit Freeze Protection Switch series protects cooling coils in air handler systems by preventing frost build up on the coils. By sensing the lowest temperature along any 30 cm (1 foot) section of capillary, the DPDT manual or automatic reset relays signal the building management system, as well as cut off the fan. Set points can be adjusted as low as 1° C (34°F) utilizing the visual set point indicator and set point screw.
  • Flexible Duct Averaging Low Limit Thermostats (SPDT)
    The TS-ST-FRE Series Flexible Duct Averaging Low Limit Thermostats (SPDT) provides a switch output based on the average temperature detected along a two or six metre capillary sensor. A common application is for frost protection on fresh air intakes or airconditioning systems, to prevent the icing up of filters, fans and coils. The capillary is fixed in a matrix across the duct, in a position downstream of the pre-heater or frost coil.

  • Zone Valves
    Two- and Three-Way Zone Valves have a 1/10-inch (2.5 mm) stroke. The zone valves work with actuators that ac¬cept one of either 24 VAC or 120 VAC power supply signal to provide on/off, floating or 0 to10 VDC control.
  • Spring Return Zone Valve Actuators
    The VA-024ZS Series of electronic valve actuators accepts either 24 or 120 VAC power supply signal to provide two-position control. This actuator works with Zone Valves with 1/10-inch (2.5 mm) stroke.

    The VA-360P Series Non-spring Return (NSR), Electronic Valve Actuator requires a 24 Vac/dc supply to provide three-position (floating) control of a valve. The VA-360P Series Non-Spring Return (NSR), Electronic Valve Actuator also receives a 0 to 10 Vdc or a 4 to 20 mA control signal to proportionally control a valve. This actuator is designed to work with flanged, Pressure Independent Control Valves with a 1-1/2-inch (40 mm) stroke.
