TS-Temperature Sensing

Temperature sensors are fundamental to any BAS where occupant comfort is paramount. Our full line of temperature sensors and transmitters are used for air, liquid and solid surfaces and are available with a variety of temperature sensor types, enclosures and form factors.

  • Allure EC-Sensor
    The Allure EC-Sensor series are versatile room temperature sensors. All Allure EC-Sensor models possess an integrated temperature sensor for precision local temperature sensing. In addition, some models feature a rotary knob for setpoint adjustment, fan speed setting, and a push button for occupancy override.
  • PDCSY-TT-1015
    Comfort temperature measurement can be best achieved by taking into account the radiant effect of surfaces within the controlled space. The comfort temperature is specifi ed as the average of the conductive temperature and the radiant temperature.
  • PDCSY-TT-635
    The PDCSY-TT-635 sensor is used for radiant heat in outdoor spaces. Black Bulb Temperature Sensors are used to calculate comfort temperature which is specifi ed as the average of the conductive temperature and the radiant temperature. Units contain either a high Quality thermistor, platinum or nickel sensing element. Sensor types compatible with most controls manufacturers’ equipment are available.
  • PDCSY-TT-518
    hese cost-effective, direct output, Thimble Temperature Sensors are used for measuring air temperature in indoor spaces. Units contain either a high quality thermistor, Nickel or Platinum sensing element. The sensing element is mounted in an attractive ‘thimble’ enclosure for surface mounting, typically on a backplate or a ceiling tile.
  • PDCSY-TT-512
    The PDCSY-TT-512 range of low profi le button temperature sensors are used for measuring air temperature in indoor space where style or a robust solution is required.
    Their discreet appearance offers reliable temperature monitoring without being obtrusive.
  • PDCSY-TT-515
    The PDCSY-TT-515 range of low profile button temperature sensors are for direct mounting onto a standard UK back box and used for measuring air temperature in indoor spaces.
  • PDCSY-TT-342
    The PDCSY-TT-342 is for use in high temperature applications up to 400°C (752°F). The sensor consists of a stainless steel probe fitted to an aluminium head, and connected by a 1m (3.28 ft) cable to a plant housing where terminations and transmitters are located.
  • PDCSY-TT-555
    The PDCSY-TT-555 is a low cost, Direct Output Temperature Sensor used to measure air temperature, especially in fan-coil units etc., and contain either a high quality thermistor, nickel or platinum sensing element suitable for the range –10 to +60°C. The sensing element is housed in a 25 mm long acetyl probe, with two metres of
    2-core screened cable fitted as standard. Longer lengths can be made to order. Order option (-R) for a cap with the element potted in a waterproof compound.
  • PDCSY-TT-322
    The PDCSY-TT-322 temperature sensor are used to measure air temperature in ducts. Units contain either a high quality thermistor, nickel or platinum sensing element. The sensing element is fitted into a stainless steel probe. A flange plate is available for adjustment of penetration depth (order as PDCSY-TT-DFP).
  • PDCSY-TT-325
    The PDCSY-TT-325 Temperature Sensors are used for measuring temperature in ducts where an average reading across the air flow is required.
  • PDCSY-TT-626
    The True Duct Averaging Sensor contains a PT100B element, which measures at every instantaneous point along the full length of the
    copper tube.
  • PDCSY-TT-331
    The PDCSY-TT-331 range are direct output, temperature Sensors for measuring outside air temperature. Units contain either a high Quality thermistor, Nickel or Platinum sensing element.
  • PDCSY-TT-332
    For measuring outside air temperature the PDCSY-TT-332 contains either a high Quality thermistor, nickel or platinum sensing element. The sensors are housed in IP65 rated enclosures. The PDCSY-TT-332 has the element fitted into a PTFE radiation shield, designed to provide fast response times to changes in outside air temperature and to protect the element from the effects of direct sunlight.
  • PDCSY-TT-341
    These Immersion Sensors are used for measuring the temperature of liquids in pipework. Units contain either a high quality thermistor, nickel or platinum element.
  • PDCSY-TT-PO
    PDCSY-TT-PO521 and PDCSY-TT-PO-HP range of Stainless Steel Pockets are for use with immersion sensors PDCSY-TT-341 and PDCSYTT-342. The two part welded PDCSY-TT-PO521 pockets are intended for low flow applications.
  • PDCSY-TT-351
    The PDCSY-TT-351 is used to measure pipe temperature, and contain either a high Quality thermistor, nickel or platinum element, which is housed in a 50mm (1.97”) long brass probe with two metres (6.56 ft) of PTFE 2-core cable as standard connecting the probe to an IP65 housing for termination.
  • PDCSY-TT-359
    The PDCSY-TT-359 clamp-on sensor is used for direct connection to measure pipe temperature. The sensing element is enclosed in a moulded nickel contact bar on the underside of the main housing. Units are available with a large range of sensing elements, using high quality thermistor, nickel or platinum elements.
  • PDCSY-TT-554
    This range of remote probe sensors is perfect for tight locations, hard to access areas or for applications where the usual duct (PDCSY-TT-322)or immersion (PDCSY-TT-341) sensor do not fit. 150mm probe is used with either the PDCSY-TTPO range of immersion sensor pockets or the PDCSY-TT-DFP duct fl ange plate.

VA - Valves and Actuators

Valves are the control points for regulating the flow of water in a piping system. Our line of control valve include ball, globe, butterfly and pressure independent valves for zone to central plant applications.

  • PDCSA-BUN
    These control valves are characterised by being extremely reliable and accurate, and make a considerable contribution to providing environmentally friendly control. They comply with the most demanding requirements such as having a rapid closing function, handling differential pressures, controlling media temperatures and providing a shut-off facility – all with a low-noise design. The valve can be controlled to any intermediate position using an electric drive. The valve is closed with the valve stem extended.
  • PDCSA-VUN
    These control valves are characterised by being extremely reliable and accurate, and make a considerable contribution to providing
    environmentally friendly control.
  • PDCSA-BUE /-BQE
    The key features of these control valves are their high reliability and precision, making a major contribution towards environment-friendly control. They meet demanding requirements including quick-close functions, coping with differential pressures, controlling the medium temperature and providing a shut-off function - and all this is achieved with a low noise level.
  • PDCSA-VUE / -VQE
    The key features of these control valves are their high reliability and precision, and they make a major contribution towards environment-friendly control. They meet demanding requirements including quick-close functions, coping with differential pressures, controlling the medium temperature and providing a shut-off function - and all this is achieved with a low noise level. An automatic and fixed connection is made between the valve stem and the drive shaft.
  • PDCSA-AVM
    The automatic adaptation to valve, precision control and high energy efficiency with minimal operating noise makes the AVM series the perfect drive for the actuation of through or three-way valves in the BUD and BUE DN65-150 series, for controllers with continuous output (0…10 V or 4…20 mA) or switching output (2-point or 3-point control).

WI - Wireless

Wireless devices offer cost savings and flexibility of installation. They are ideal for building retrofits, open spaces that undergo frequent layout changes and installations on all kinds of surfaces. These devices use energy harvesting technologies and low power wireless communication in order to be truly wireless and battery-less. Devices include a variety of temperature, humidity, motion and light level sensors as well as light switches and door/window contacts.

  • Allure ECW-Sensor
    The Allure ECW-Sensor series are wireless and battery-less room temperature sensors specifically designed to communicate with Distech Controls’Open-to-Wireless controllers via radio telegrams
    in accordance with the EnOcean standard.
  • SR04 RH Series
    Battery-less radio room sensor for temperature and ventilation control and higher-graded control systems. Transmission to receiver by means of radio telegrams according to EnOcean standard. Depending on the type with integrated sensor for humidity and temperature, rotary knob for set point adjustment, presence key. With integrated solar energy storage.
  • SR65AKF
    Battery and wireless air-duct sensor for temperature control and higher-graded control systems. Detection of measuring values via the higher-graded control system. Transmission to
    receiver by means of radio telegrams according to EnOcean® standard. With integrated temperature sensor and solar energy storage for maintenance-free operation.
  • SR65TF1
    Battery-and wireless contact sensor for temperature control and higher-graded control systems. For measuring temperature on pipes and arched surfaces.
  • SRW01
    Battery-less radio window contact for status monitoring of windows and doors and highergraded control systems. Satus monitoring of windows and doors. Transmission to the receiver by means of radio telegrams based on the EnOcean standard. With integrated solar energy storage.
  • INT-ENOCEAN
    Battery-less radio light switch designed to communicate with Distech Controls’ Open-to-Wireless controllers via radio telegrams in accordance with the EnOcean standard.
  • SR65 DI
    The module SR65 DI has one digital input for dry contacts by which the switch status can be evaluated.
  • SR65 LI
    Battery and wireless outdoor light sensor for detection of brightness in outdoor applications. Shadowing and lighting control and higher control systems. Transmission to receiver by means of radio telegrams according to EnOcean® standard. With integrated light sensor and solar energy storage for maintenance free operation.
  • SR65VFG
    Battery-and wireless contact sensor for temperature control and higher-graded control systems.
  • SR65
    Battery- and wireless outdoor sensor for temperature control and higher-graded control systems.
  • SRE Repeater
    The repeater is designed for low-level amplification of telegrams between EnOcean sensors and receivers.
  • EPM300
    Field strength measuring instrument for finding optimal mounting place for transmitter and receiver. With integrated repeater for test installations.

AV - Air Velocity

Air velocity sensors output the actual speed of airflow to the building automation system. 

This allows the BAS to monitor and control the amount of air flowing through the ventilation system.

  • PDCSY-AV-622
    The PDCSY-AV-622 is a single-point, multirange Air Velocity Transmitter with user selectable 0-10Vdc or 4-20mA outputs and four user selectable measurement ranges. The unit has a built-in self-test feature and the user can manually override the output to 0%, 50% or 100% of output range to aid commissioning.
  • PDCSY-AV-EP
    Using a PDCSY-PA-600, PDCSY-PA-650, PDCSYPA-267-AH or PDCSY-PA-699 Air Differential Pressure Sensor of an appropriate range, the output of the sensor represents the velocity pressure.
  • PDCSY-AV-MPS
    A Multi-point Air Velocity Sensor for use in larger ducts or where turbulent airfl ow is likely to be encountered. Stainless steel construction is used for the tubing and all gaskets are provided.
  • PDCSY-AV-W
    The PDCSY-AV-W-S measures wind speed providing a pulsed output and is intended for applications where external weather conditions infl uence the building control strategy, such as for the automatic closing of windows. A mounting arm and ‘U’ bolts for pole mounting are included.

AW - Air and Water Flow

Fluid sensing devices are used to ensure proper flow in piping systems, monitor liquid levels and warn the system of leaks, amongst other functions. Our collection of liquid flow switches, level switches and leak detectors can be installed on new and retrofit projects alike.

  • PDCSY-LS-712
    The PDCSY-LS-712 range of submersible water level transmitters provides continuous hydrostatic level measurement up to 10.2m (33.46ft) of water column. They are suitable for many applications such as water tanks, wells, sumps and ponds.
  • PDCSY-LS-MC
    The PDCSY-LS-MC is an Ultrasonic Level Transmitter for measurement of liquids in tanks or sumps. The 4-20 mA output represents the distance between the surface of the liquid being detected and the sensor. The PDCSY-LS-MC has an integral LCD display, three push buttons under the lid for security, and just eight parameters to set making it one of the simplest ultrasonic level transmitters to calibrate and use.
  • PDCSY-LS-541
    The PDCSY-LS-541 is intended to monitor the liquid level in a tank or vessel and provides a switched output for local alarm, pump or valve control. The differential between switching is equivalent to approximately 15 mm. The unit mounts into 1” BSPT female boss. Access is not required to the inside of the tank.
  • PDCSY-LS-AFS
    The PDCSY-LS-AFS is designed for simple reliable water level control. The float switch can be used to control a pump for either tank filling or tank emptying (a high or low level cut-out). It is easily achieved by positioning the float stops on the cord.
  • PDCSY-LS-FL
    The PDCSY-LS-FL series is a range of Level Switches suitable for single or multi-level applications where access is only available from the top surface or where multiple level sensing is desired from a single penetration. Units consist of a float, which is suspended from a weighted cable.
  • PDCSY-LS-S
    A range of Level Switches designed for high and low liquid level detection in tanks and vessels. Units consist of a lever arm reed switch assembly and a tank fixing assembly. Type 1 switches fit from the inside of the tank and tighten on to a back nut whilst the type 2 switches mount from the outside into a tapered boss.
  • PDCSY-LS-TM
    The PDCSY-LS-TM is an easy to install Top Mounting Level Switch, and has a reversible float so that it can be used for either high or low level alarms. The float is suspended from a 5 metre PVC cable with a polyethylene weight and is fully submersible and adjustable.
  • PDCSY-LS-CAP
    These sensors are designed for level measurement in tanks or sumps providing a 4-20 mA output relating to the level of fluid in the tank. The PDCSY-LS-CAP-1 is suitable for conducting liquids such as water whilst the PDCSY-LS-CAP-2 is designed for use with clean, low viscosity nonconducting liquids such as oil. Both types consist of two concentric elements, an inner probe and an outer tube.

AQ - Air Quality

Gas sensing devices are vital to the wellbeing of building occupants. Our portfolio of gas sensors can detect carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), smoke, volatile organic compounds (VOC) and a number of other gases and compounds that can pose a threat to health and safety. Available devices can transmit gas levels back to the BAS and can also directly control exhaust systems to remove harmful toxins and bring in fresh air.

  • PDCSY-GS-CO2
    This PDCSY-GS-CO2 series uses a nondispersive infrared sensor for measuring CO2 concentrations, utilising microprocessor based electronics and a unique self-calibration algorithm to improve long-term stability and accuracy.
  • PDCSY-GS-CO2-RHT
    Using a non-dispersive infrared sensor for measuring CO2 concentrations and utilising microprocessor based electronics, the unique self-calibration algorithm offers long-term stability and accuracy. They are also fitted with a RH and temperature output, and have an optional LCD with 3-colour ‘traffic light’ status indication.
  • PDCSY-GS-CO2-X
    The new PDCSY-GS-CO2-X range of combined CO2, Temperature and RH sensors are set in our aesthetically pleasing (1000) space sensor housing.
  • PDCSY-GS-CO2-AQ-RHT
    This innovative one housing solution for combined CO2, Air Quality, RH and Temperature measurement, offers long term high stability and accuracy for all measured parameters. The sensor can be used to ensure adequate ventilation while maximising energy savings by ventilating at the optimum level, making these ideal for all types of ventilation in many applications.
  • PDCSY-GS-AQ
    The PDCSY-GS-AQ series of air quality transmitters are designed for use with the control of fresh air for ventilation purposes.

CB – Cables

Low-voltage cable is the nervous system of the building controls network. Communication cable connects together BACnet MS/TP, BACnet/IP and LonWorks control networks. Cat 5e patch cords quickly snap Allure sensor and Smart Room Control products to controllers without the need of any tools. 

  • BACnet MS/TP Cable
    FT-6 BACnet MS/TP 1 Pair shielded cable box (305m/1000ft). BACnet MS/TP cables are blue, marked Distech Controls and come with print legends for quick identification and troubleshooting.
  • LonWorks Cable
    Echelon-certified 1 pair LonWorks TP/TF-10 cable with 22 AWG annealed bare copper cables. LonWorks cables come with Distech Controls specified jacket color and print legends for quick identification and troubleshooting.
  • Patch Cables
    Pre-assembled cables with RJ45 and RJ9 connectors, protective boots are available in various lengths.

RH - Relative Humidity and Temperature

Humidity sensing devices help maintain a comfortable environment for building occupants and safe conditions for equipment where moisture can cause damage. A variety of humidity and combination humidity and temperature sensors are available in different types of enclosures for installation in rooms, ducts and outdoors. Humidity sensing accuracy can be chosen based on the needs of the application. Sensors for monitoring and detecting condensation are also available.

  • PDCSY-RH-600
    The PDCSY-RH-600 range of humidity and temperature sensors offer the latest technology high precision and accuracy RH & T° element, and installed in our new revised robust 600 series housing.
  • PDCSY-RH-1000
    Using the latest high accuracy RH & T° element, the PDCSY-RH-1000 has options such as setpoint adjustment, momentary switch and fan speed selection, together with a multi-line backlit LCD display. A 0-10Vdc override status input option is also available, allowing occupancy indication on the display.

VD - Variable Frequency Drives

Inverter (Variable Frequency) drives are important to any building energy saving initiative. Our line of drives is specifically designed for all HVAC applications and connects seamlessly to the BAS through standard protocols. They can be installed anywhere, no matter the motor size, voltage or enclosure requirements and can be packaged with disconnects, fuses and bypasses.

  • PDCSY-FC-DIN
    The PDCSY-FC-DIN range of DIN-rail mounting Fan Speed modules offer user selectable 0-10 Vdc, 4-20 mA input control signal compatibility for automatic control, and a 3-wire potentiometer input for manual control.
  • 101 BASICS
    The 101 HVAC Basic series is dedicated to your air handling units and pumping applications. Moreover, this high reliability drive offers the best price/performances ratio for HVAC applications. Thanks to the last power electronics technology, the 101 HVAC Basic is the most compact drive in its category and provides the main functions for standard HVAC applications.
  • 102 Series
    The 102 HVAC Drive embeds the latest functional and electronics innovations to contribute to building energy efficiency while reducing operating costs and CO2 footprint. Advancements in energy monitoring, trending, system maintenance and operation are combined with a modular platform to make the drive easy to operate while feeding back all the operation information you need.

CW - Condensation and Water Leak

  • CPS Series
    The CPS-x condensation prevention sensor is designed to meet the requirements for a low cost device to provide early warning of condensing conditions. Applications include chilled beam/ ceiling systems where control safeguards are required to avoid ‘indoor rain’.
  • PDCSY-WD-X
    The PDCSY-WD-x range is designed to detect water leaks either at localised points using the PDCSY-WD-PS point sensor or larger areas with the PDCSY-WD-CS cable sensor, a rain sensor is also available.

ME - Meters

Meters are crucial to any energy management system. Power, water and gas meters feed energy data to the EMS that can then be used as part of a number of initiatives including sub-metering, tenant billing, and demand response. Our meters are suitable for all installations whether new or retrofit.

  • PDCSY-MW-MD
    The PDCSY-MW-MD range of Heat Meter Integrators uses the latest innovative technology to calculate heat usage from heating and cooling systems. They are for use with mechanical flow parts. With its dynamic measuring cycle even the smallest energy consumptions are reliably collected. The large multifunction display permanently shows the heat consumption total, and by using the button it is possible to scroll through the display to show all data.
  • PDCSY-MW
    Meters for measuring the volume flow in heating and cooling systems. The MW range of flow sensors are meters especially designed for the special conditions in heating and cooling circuits. The pulse transmission takes place via the tried and tested reed-contact and is thus, compatible with the PDCSY-MW-MD.
  • PDCSY-MW-CHM
    Heat energy is calculated by using a matched pair of high accuracy sensors to measure the difference between the forward and flow temperatures. The amount of water flowing through the circuit is measured by the water meter, and the microprocessor-controlled calculator then calculates the consumed heat energy from the temperature and flow data. The large, easy-to-read display shows the energy used. Additional measurement and instrument data can be easily displayed by scanning the display loops. The integrated non-volatile E2PROM automatically stores the meter data once a day. It is possible to view the last 18 monthly values from the display.
  • PDCSY-MW-U
    Ultrasonic Heat Sensors have no moving parts in the volume flow which makes them almost wear free and noiseless. They measure the flow by using the transit time principle, one ultrasonic signal is launched in the flow direction and one against the flow direction. The flow rate is concluded by the delay time measured and the information is then transmitted to the calculator by the way of electronic pulses.
  • PDCSY-PM-EM21
    The PDCSY-PM-EM21 is a compact Energy Meter that has a removable front LCD display that allows it to be either DIN-rail or panel mounted. The energy meter is designed for active and reactive energy metering.
  • PDCSY-PM-EM24
    The PDCSY-PM-EM24 DIN-rail mounted Energy Analyser is designed for active and reactive energy metering. When using the optional RS- 485 Modbus output it is possible to connect up to three additional pulse inputs from other metering equipment enabling all consumption data to be read from just one meter.
  • PDCSY-PM-CT-X
    The range of current transformers are available in moulded, split core and ring types. They are all suitable for use with the PDCSY-PM-EM range of kWh meters.
  • PDCSY-PM-CTR
    This new series of Current Transducers provide accurate load trending information with a choice of 4-20mA, 0-10Vdc and 0-5Vdc output signals. They provide accurate, reliable and maintenance free operation.
  • PDCSY-PM-CSX
    A new range of Current Switches offer adjustable or fixed setpoint’s and provides accurate, reliable and maintenance-free operation. Output switching options include 30VAC/dc @ 1A or 240VAC @ 1A, with current ratings of up to 150A.
  • PDCSY-PWx
    The master level converter series offers versions for 20 and 60 M-bus slaves, acting as master interfaces for M-Bus networks. They are of a compact design (wall or DIN rail mounting) and have a broad supply voltage band.

HP - Humidistats and Pressure Switches

  • PDCSY-PA-DPS
    These are highly sensitive air differential pressure switches, suitable for providing an indication of fan status and ‘dirty filter’ conditions. The switching setpoint is adjusted by means of a knob mounted under the main cover. Units are supplied complete with a duct fixing kit.
  • PDCSY-ST-TY
    The PDCSY-ST-TY series of wall mounting Space Thermostats are suitable for heating and/or cooling and frost protection applications.
  • PDCSY-ST
    The PDCSY-ST thermostats, are well suited for a number of applications of temperature control or safety cut-out in pipe work systems, calorifiers, duct work systems, green houses and many other installations. They all have the set-point adjustment under the cover to prevent unauthorised tampering.
  • PDCSY-RH-SH
  • PDCSY-ST-FRE
    The PDCSY-ST-FRE range of Frost Thermostats provide a switch output based on the average temperature detected along a two or six metre capillary sensor.
  • PDCSY-SD-622
    The PDCSY-SD-622 provides relay outputs on the detection of smoke or fault conditions. The alarm output relay can be either manual or auto reset depending on application type.
  • PDCSY-FS-521
    This Paddle Switch is intended to monitor air flow within a duct and provides a switched output on detection of either a specific air velocity or flow failure.
  • PDCSY-FS-541
    The PDCSY-FS-541 series of Paddle Switches are intended to monitor liquid flow within pipes and provides a VFC output on detection of either a specific flow rate or flow failure. They screw directly into a 1” BSPT boss.
  • PDCSY-PL-625
    Features optimised polymer diaphragm technology to give long term stability and excellent repeatability of switching points and housed within a rugged industrial case.
  • PDCSY-PL-630-A
    Ideal for flow monitoring and proving applications in heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems.
  • PDCSY-PL-FD113
    Liquid Differential Pressure Switch suitable for monitoring flow status across pumps, chillers, valves etc. The switch has an adjustable set point from 0.3 bar to 4.5 bar with a fixed differential of 0.2 bar. A dial on the front indicates the approximate setting of the switch.
  • PDCSY-PL-PSA
    Adjustable Pressure Switches, suitable for the monitoring of flow failure and proving in pumps, chillers, valves etc. Units have an adjustable setpoint and differential.

PS - Pressure Sensing

Maintaining correct pressure in a control system is extremely important for proper system function, equipment protection and can be critical in clean room applications. Our family of pressure sensors can measure air and liquid, static and differential pressures within all common ranges and units.
  • PDCSY-PA-267-AH
    These sensors are designed for differential pressure measurements of air and other neutral gases. The unit is especially suited for measurement and control in HVAC applications. The measurement cell uses an advanced design capacitive element to ensure excellent linearity and stability.
  • PDCSY-PA-60-x
    The PA-60-x series of differential pressure transmitters are ideal for measuring filter conditions, as well as many other applications in ventilation/air conditioning systems in buildings, laboratory’s and clean rooms (air and noncorrosive gases).
  • PDCSY-PA-699
    This range of field selectable Multi-range Differential Pressure Transmitters, incorporate a proven ceramic fulcrum lever technology for pressure measurement.
  • PDCSY-PA-65-X

    This range of 24 Vdc Power Supplies offer advanced protection, selfdiagnostics and self-test facilities, to make installation and commissioning quicker and easier.
  • PDCSY-RE-1P
    The single phase DIN-Rail mounting controllers are suitable for providing control of electric heating loads from an analogue signal. Applications include electric heating coils, heating cables and electric furnaces. The units utilise solid-state switching with “zero crossing technology” to provide accurate switching control. All items are provided with an alarm output for over temperature protection and LED Indication of Output ON, and are designed to mount on DIN rail.
  • PDCSY-RE-3P
    The RE-3P range are suitable for providing control of electric heating loads from an analogue signal. Applications include electric heating coils, heating cables and electric furnaces. The units utilise solid-state switching with “zero crossing technology” to provide accurate switching control. All controllers are provided with an alarm output for over temperature protection and LED Indication of Output ON.   • PDCSY-RE-PR3-E
    These thyristor Control Assemblies provide full seamless control of 3-phase resistive loads of up to 27, 36, 54, 86 & 105 kW. The controllers incorporate a temperature trip, automatic reset, alarm output, LED indication (output on) and heatsink.

IO - Inputs / Outputs Modules

Relays are a standard component in all control systems. 

We have a complete line of pilot, power, and specialty relays in a variety of form factors. Solid state relays (SSR), solid state contactor relays (SSCR) and staging controllers are also available for more advanced control requirements.
  • PDCSY-IO-ABM4
    Intended for applications which require independent manual override of analogue output channels from a BMS controller, as a fail-safe in the event of controller failure. Enables actuators to be manually overridden from the panel where local access is difficult. Also useful for commissioning or temporary control of plant prior to controller installation.
  • PDCSY-IO-A-RM
    This module can accept either a voltage or current input which can be rescaled to either a voltage or current output. A range of preset values are link selectable. Fine adjustments can be achieved using trimming potentiometers. The PDCSY-IOARM can also reverse an input signal.
  • PDCSY-IO-DIM
    These modules are intended for use with BMS controllers to expand their input capacity by multiplexing four or six digital signals or 4 x 24 VAC/dc inputs into a single analogue controller unit. Each combination of input states corresponds to an analogue value from the PDCSY-IO-DIM4 and PDCSY-IO-DIM6 which can be decoded into four or six digital status bits.
  • PDCSY-IO-IIM
    Intended for use with BMS controllers wherever the output signal requires isolation from supply ground. The PDCSY-IO-IIM accepts either a current loop or voltage input. The module is powered by 24VAC and the output 0V is floating with respect to the input and supply ground.
  • PDCSY-IO-RM1
    A range of relays for use with BMS controllers for switching plant and isolation of input signals.
  • PDCSY-IO-RM-2
    This module is intended for use with BMS controllers to convert an analogue control output to a raise/ lower, high/low or binary relay output pair. Applications include the control of raise/ lower valve and damper actuators, and pump changeover. LEDs indicate correct operation and Hand/Off/Auto jumpers ease commissioning. Low current draw from 0-10 Vdc controller output means that the PDCSY-IO-RM-2 can work successfully with most BEMS controllers.
  • PDCSY-IO-RM-3
    The PDCSY-IO-RM-3 is designed for use with BMS controllers to convert an analogue control output to a binary, heat/cool, staged or sequenced relay modes. LEDs indicate correct operation and Hand/Off/Auto jumpers ease commissioning. Low current draw from 0-10 Vdc controller output means that the PDCSY-IO-RM-3 can work successfully with most BEMS controllers.
  • PDCSY-IO-RM-4
    The PDCSY-IO-RM-4 enables a single 0-10 Vdc analogue output from a BMS controller to switch four digital outputs independently, in one of three different modes, and requires < 1 mA input.
  • PDCSY-IO-RM-8
    These modules are used to convert a 0-10 Vdc input to an 8-stage relay output. Link selection of operating mode enables the module to act either as eight stages of switching, as an eight output sequencer, or in a combination of the two modes.

NC – Network Connectivity

Network connectivity devices maintain proper communication between controllers in a BAS. Our product range consists of adapters, routers, repeaters, switches and devices for connecting BACnet and LonWorks® networks.

  • BACnet/IP to MS/TP Adapter
    The BACnet/IP to MS/TP adapter is a convenient device used to connect a laptop to an MS/TP network with all the electronics supplied in a lightweight, small plastic case. The unit is powered from a USB port removing the need for batteries or wall plugs.
  • Plug-and-Play Unmanaged Switches
    For control panels where DIN-rail space is at a premium, the NC-EISK series of plug-and-play (unmanaged) Ethernet switches with widths as little as one inch (26 mm) is the answer. Housed in a rugged metal enclosure with a metal DIN-rail clip, the series includes models with 5 and 8 ports. Some models provide one or two ports of either single-mode or multimode fibre optics with either SC or ST connectors.
  • Diagnostic Switches
    Diagnostic switches retains all the virtues of switched Ethernet technology but with one exception — no address learning. All messages are flooded to all ports on the switch allowing a protocol analyser tool the ability to observe all traffic on the network. They can be permanently installed on an installation or replaced with a regular switch once a system is commissioned.
  • EIBA Series, 5-Port BAS Switches
    The Plug-and-Play (PnP) EIBA switches provide the needed functionality, mounting convenience, and ruggedness to fill expanding needs for Ethernet switches in many of the new Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • BACnet/IP to MS/TP Router
    The router routes messages between BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP networks as per the ANSI/ASHRAE 135 (ISO 16484-5) standard. It allows BACnet/IP devices connected over Ethernet to communicate with MS/TP devices. The router is configurable via its web page.
  • BACnet MS/TP Repeater
    The BACnet MS/TP repeater is a designed to extend your network beyond the 4,000 feet range limitation of RS-485. The repeater also augments the RS-485 signal to allow more devices on a single channel.
  • LonWorks Repeater
    The NC-LONDUP added to a LonWorks® network can effectively double the system capability in the event that the limits of the number of LonWorks® nodes or total wire distance are exceeded.
  • i.LON-600 LonWorks®/IP Server
    The i.LON® 600 LonWorks®/IP Server is an ISO/IEC 14908 router that uses IP as a standard LonWorks® channel to allow LonWorks® devices such as pumps, motors, valves, sensors, and lights to be securely configured, monitored, and controlled over IP or Ethernet.
  • USB Network Interface
    The NC-75010R USB Network Interfaces allows for PCs to connect to LNS®-enabled integration and development tools to LonWorks® networks. It connects through a LonWorks® free topology channel and is fully compatible with link powered channels.
  • LON PCI Cards
    The NC-74501R Network Adapter is a high-performance LonWorks® interface for personal computers equipped with a 3.3V or 5V 32-bit Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) interface and a compatible operating system.
  • LonScanner FX Professional
    The LonScanner FX Protocol Analyzer is an easy-to-use Windows tool that lets manufacturers, system integrators, and end users observe, analyze, and diagnose the behavior of LonWorks® networks.
  • Network Interface Cards
    The NC-NIC Series are the most universal network interfaces for CEA-709 and IP-852 (Ethernet/IP) channels. They offer high packet rates and short response times and are fully compatible with products like LonMaker® and other LNS® applications.
  • CEA-709/IP-852 Router
    The NC-LIP Router Series connects twisted pair channels (TP/FT-10 or TP/XF-1250) with the Ethernet/IP channel (IP-852) in LonMark Systems. NC-LIPs route CEA-709 packets through an IP based network such as a LAN (Ethernet), an Intranet, or even the Internet and connects to the IP network via a 100Base-T Ethernet port.
  • CEA-709 Router
    The NC-LS Routers are the solution for interconnecting multiple twisted pair channels (TP/FT-10 or TP/XF-1250 channels) in LonMark Systems. They provide up to five ports and routes packets between these ports, delivering first class performance and flexibility in use.
  • LonWorks Protocol Analyzer
    The NC-LPA for LonMark Systems captures all data packets on CEA-709 or IP-852 networks and displays all recorded packets on a PC screen. The NC-LPA software provides a comprehensive set of functions and methods to view, filter, and analyze data packets down to bit level.
