EC-Net establishes a fully Internet-enabled, distributed architecture for real-time access, automation and control of embedded devices and ties both new and legacy system components together; regardless of manufacturer, platform or protocol, into a common control system.

EC-Net features:

Multi-protocol control platform allowing a universal open environment and integration of LONWORKS®, BACnet®, Modbus™ or legacy protocols

• Web-based network including EC-BOS Web servers and complete EC-Net software suite and engineering tools
• Leverage best-of-breed devices in new or retrofit BAS projects
• Lower integration and maintenance costs
• For use with the EasyControls controllers or any other device and protocol including LONWORKS, BACnet, Modbus or legacy protocols. 

EC-Net Wizards:

Furthermore, to promote quick and simple integration of our EasyControls controllers within the EC-Net environment, Distech Controls will be gradually releasing EC-Net wizards. As with our LNS plug-ins, these applications facilitate the configuration of our controllers - from within the EC-NetPro engineering tool, and provide for significant improvement in efficiency in the engineering and configuration process by allowing all of the development work to be completed from within one tool set - reducing time and cost of integration.
