[Lyon, France, November 2, 2018] –Distech Controls, an innovation leader connecting people with intelligent building solutions, will be exhibiting at the Smart Buildings Show for its second year. The show is the UK’s leading dedicated smart buildings event and takes place at the Barbican in London on the 7th and 8th November.

We’re looking forward to showcasing our new products to visitors and demonstrating the exciting developments Distech Controls has made over the last year.”

Distech Controls will be demonstrating its latest technological developments that can help heighten occupancy comfort as well as improve energy efficiency. The company has recently launched a number of exciting new products that will be on the stand for visitors to see:

• The Allure UNITOUCH room controller, with its built-in Bluetooth® low energy (BLE) technology, which can control temperature, fan speed, lighting and blind control all from one, attractive-looking device.

   

• The EC-Multi-Sensor-BLE features a motion detector, light sensor, temperature sensor and a BLE transceiver for the wireless control of comfort.

   

• The new my PERSONIFY Bluetooth® enabled app, which provides users with easily customisable comfort settings directly from a mobile device through its intuitive interface.

Distech Controls will also be showcasing its revolutionary ECLYPSE™ Connected IP and Wi-Fi Product Series.

Visitors to the Distech Controls stand will also have the opportunity to WIN a Sonas Play:1 by participating in ‘The Xpress ENVYSION Challenge’. Players will be asked to create a graphic within the Distech Controls ENYSION platform in the fastest time. Each entrant will be given two minutes of training on the system and then its down to them. The fastest times will be collected over the two days and the winner announced on the stand at the end of the show.      

Simon Ward will be taking to the stage at 1.45pm in the Connected Controls Theatre on the first day of the show. His presentation entitled ‘Building Automation embraces the Internet of Things (IoT)’ will explore how IoT has the potential to expand the functionality of the BMS and make commercial buildings even more efficient, and better able to serve the needs of the organisations that occupy them.
